I'm Danielle. In my previous incarnation as a food blogger, I spent an inordinate amount of time fussing over the perfect dish, both aesthetically and gastronomically. As a result, I am now the proud owner of almost 1,000 images on Wordpress, three Nikon lenses, and a bigger waistline. All of which are growing, slowly but surely, with every post.
Obviously, these accomplishments were not formidable enough for me to give up blogging or photography.
Beyond the Plate began as a motivation to seek inspiration outside the kitchen and a personal challenge to explore new genres of photography. You can read more about its goals in this post.
I am always game for freelance photography projects. If you like what you see and want to hire me, or just want to say ‘Hi!!’, send me a note using the contact form at the top of the page.
